Foster Parent Appreciation Event 2026
Join us for an evening of celebration and gratitude at Foster Parent Appreciation 2026!

Foster, adoptive, and kinship families play a vital role in the lives of Lubbock’s foster children, and this special night is dedicated to honoring and appreciating all you do! Come enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner, exciting door prizes, and a heartwarming awards ceremony recognizing outstanding caregivers in our community.
Child care is available from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. on the night of the event through One Heart’s Foster Parent Night Out, hosted at various churches in the Lubbock community, so you can relax and enjoy the evening.
This is our way of saying THANK YOU for your love, dedication, and commitment to Lubbock’s children.

We welcome support from individuals and businesses who want to help make this event extra special! Charitable, gift-in-kind donations are greatly appreciated. Items we are seeking include:
- Door Prizes (family-friendly items, gift baskets, experiences, gift cards)
- Desserts
- Drinks (tea, lemonade, water)
- Plates, utensils, napkins, cups
- Gift cards for 15 Award Ceremony Winners
- We welcome Thank You notes to foster families from Churches or Volunteer Groups!
