Join us for the 2026 Home Run, a fun-filled morning benefiting children and families involved in foster care throughout the South Plains. Whether you’re an experienced runner, a casual walker, or simply looking for a family-friendly community event, there’s something for everyone!

Admission is completely FREE! Come enjoy the festivities, cheer on the runners, and learn how you can make a difference for children in foster care.
Run for a Child
Registration for the 4K Fun Run is just $10, and every registration helps raise awareness of the urgent need for foster and adoptive families in our community.
There are currently 185 Lubbock County children in foster care. Imagine the impact if we had 185 runners, with each participant running in honor of one child from Lubbock County who deserves the safety, love, and hope of a permanent family.
Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, your participation helps shine a light on the needs of vulnerable children and supports the mission of finding more caring families willing to open their hearts and homes.
The first 50 registered runners who attend the event will receive a commemorative event T-shirt.
